Mess to Fresh is an online directory connecting customers with independent cleaning professionals across the UK. For the purposes of UK GDPR, we are the data controller for any personal data we collect. You can contact us at hello@messtofresh.co.uk.
We believe your privacy matters. When you browse our directory, we do not collect any personal data. No accounts, no tracking, no cookies that follow you around the internet.
When you use our contact form to message a cleaner, you provide your name and phone number or email address. This information is sent directly to the cleaner you have chosen via email. We do not see, store or retain any of this personal data. The only record we keep is an anonymous enquiry reference ID, the cleaner contacted, and the date — this is used solely to measure enquiry volumes and contains no personal information.
When you register as a cleaner on Mess to Fresh, we collect the following personal data:

Customer contact details submitted via our contact form are sent directly to the relevant cleaner and are not stored by us.
We retain cleaner data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your membership, we will delete your personal data within 30 days of cancellation, except where we are legally required to retain it (e.g. financial records for HMRC, which are retained for 6 years).
Unverified registrations are automatically deleted after 90 days.
Anonymous enquiry reference IDs (which contain no personal data) are retained indefinitely for analytics purposes.
